Master Classes
Master classes are available for intermediate and advanced high school, pre-college, and collegiate musicians. Topics may include viola performance, chamber music coaching, orchestral excerpt preparation, audition techniques, and performance practice.
Sessions are designed to provide focused feedback in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Advanced
Intended for dedicated students preparing for pre-professional study, competitions, auditions, or collegiate music programs. Lessons focus on refining artistry, musical interpretation, technical fluency, and performance skills through advanced solo, chamber, and orchestral repertoire.
Guidance is also available for college applications, audition preparation, and career development in music.
Intermediate
For students who have mastered the basics and are ready to expand their musical and technical abilities. Lessons emphasize greater independence, expressive playing, and more advanced technical skills.
Students are introduced to orchestral and chamber music playing, sight-reading, and a broader range of repertoire that develops both musicianship and artistic expression.
Beginning
Designed for students who are new to the viola/violin or have limited prior experience. Lessons focus on establishing proper instrument setup, posture, and healthy playing habits while building a strong technical foundation through left- and right-hand development.
Students will learn note reading, rhythm, tone production, and fundamental musicianship while developing the ability to perform melodies and short pieces with confidence.
Offering private viola lessons and violin lessons for students of all ages and levels, including beginners, advanced high school students, and aspiring conservatory musicians.
